New Overhead Door and Garage Fob System

Gateway Garrison Green will be undergoing some positive changes in the near future! The interior overhead door (resident's door) is being replaced along with the garage fob entry system. The Board undertook the projects in hopes to alleviate the frequent problems caused by the overhead door and the garage fobs.

Please review the following dates and organize yourself accordingly:

Monday, April 29, 2013 to Wednesday, May 01, 2013
Replacement of the overhead door

This will cause the most disruptions as access will be prohibited during certain hours for the duration of these three days. This means that residents will not be able to enter or exit the parkade with their vehicles while the work is underway. The work on the overhead door will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp and will end at 5:00 p.m. All residents who will need to access their vehicles must have them removed from their stalls before 8:00 a.m. each day. If you do not need to leave during these times, your vehicle can remain in its stall. To accommodate the residents, the contractor will be taking a break between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and at that time will open up access to the parkade. Residents may come and go as they please during this time but access will be blocked off promptly at 1:00 p.m. - no exceptions.

If you need to come and go throughout the day, Visitor Parking is available for your use. The lot will not be monitored during the day on those three days.

Distribution of Garage Fobs

The following schedule has been created for residents to obtain their access fobs for the new system:

TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2013
10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 01, 2013
10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Residents will come to the lounge during the above mentioned hours to obtain their new fobs. Each unit will be provided with 2 fobs and any additional fobs may be purchased for $75.00 each. Please note that the fobs will be released to the unit owner. If an owner would like to authorize his/her tenant to pick up the fobs on their behalf, this authorization will need to be provided in writing. This can be done by emailing the website via the Contact Us link.

Those residents who do not pick-up their fobs during the times specified will need to arrange a time with the site manager to do so. Note: The site office hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the week. The site manager can be reached at garrison.green@shaw.ca or 403-540-5025.

Replacement of the Garage Fob System

2K2 Solutions will be on site on this date to start replacing the system. This will allow for any issues to be worked out during that entire week. The old system will be in place until the new one is up and running.
